The intern role will involve filming and coding training sessions, filming all home games, and aiding in
providing reports on team and individual performance.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working in a high-level performance environment under
the guidance and support of professional coaching and performance analysis staff. Past graduates of this
internship have been highly successful and have quickly gone onto further roles in NPC, Super Rugby and
International Rugby.
In addition to the role with the Highlanders, the successful candidate will study towards a Post-graduate
Diploma in Applied Science (Performance Analysis) at Otago Polytechnic. There will be a need for the
candidate to have good time management skills to be able to effectively manage their studies and
Highlander's commitments. Both Highlanders and Otago Polytechnic will work together to avoid clashes
with the intern's work commitments and PGDip studies.
